Gasoline Alley Harley-Davidson® started with a small staff of fewer than 10 people and less than 20 bikes in the showroom. In a short 9 year period, owner Grant Price moved to a larger building in the up and coming Gasoline Alley. This is where the dealership as we know it came into realization. The name changed, but the ideology and mission behind Gasoline Alley Harley-Davidson® remained. Grants dedication to delivering second to none customer service earned him a reputation that traveled not only throughout Alberta but into the furthest reaches of North America as well. It is not uncommon to see a Gasoline Alley Harley-Davidson® shirt on trips across Canada, to the United States, or even across oceans. The standing earned to Grant by years of treating customers like gold once again afforded the opportunity to grow in size yet again. In the summer of 2006 GAH-D® moved just down the road to a building that seemed to hulk over the previous dealership. Even though the building was an impressive 15,000sq ft. it just could not contain the extremely fast growing business and the dealership was expanded once more. This expansion has helped the dealership become one of the most recognizable icons of Gasoline Alley and Red Deer as a whole. Gasoline Alley Harley-Davidson® exceeded its own reputation as a leader in the industry and also gained notoriety for the colossal amount of community service that GAH-D® participated in. Charities from STARS, to the SPCA and The Red Deer Food Bank have all been the recipients of numerous donations raised by Gasoline Alley Harley-Davidson® and our amazing customers. The dealership now stands at a whopping 41,500sq ft. and under the leadership of Matthew Price, Grants eldest son, claimed the Dealer of the Year for all of Canada in 2014.
Gasoline Alley Harley-Davidson® has continued to grow outwards and onwards and became an international symbol when it opened its doors in 2011 to a brand new dealership in Brisbane, Australia. Not only were the customers in Australia ecstatic at the prospect of a dealership that focused on quality products and delivering the best customer service but it also allowed for the customers themselves to embark on new adventures to countries they hadn't yet experienced. Both dealerships have hosted riders from across the ocean and helped them encounter trips they are sure to remember for a lifetime. The Australian dealership had even managed to earn the prestigious Dealer of the year for 2 years in a row.
